Every Saturday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Location:  Virginia Avenue Park (Pico Boulevard at 22nd St).

Every Sunday, 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Location: 2640 Main Street.  Free validation parking at the beach. Free bicycle valet parking at the market.

2nd Tuesdays, monthly, 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. Free but RSVP required. Location: SM Chamber, 1234 6th Street.

3rd Wednesdays, monthly, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Locations vary, to RSVP and purchase tickets:


CicLAvia - Bike Ride with Santa Monica's Mayor

9 - 11 am

Location:  17th Street EXPO Breeze Station - Colorado Avenue/17th St

Ride Breeze or ride your own bike, but don't miss this one!  For March we combine the Monthly Ride with the Mayor, a Breeze Community Ride celebrating SPRING that includes free 1.5 hours ride time credit* & a Feeder Ride to CicLAvia, Culver City meet Venice all into ONE.

Start from 17th Street Expo Breeze Station - if you RSVP you'll also get bagels and coffee (bring your own cup)

Join Santa Monica Spoke, Mayor Ted Winterer, City Manager Rick Cole, City of Santa Monica Mobility Team and Breeze Bike Share at the 17th Breeze Expo Station at 9am for this 3x's the FUN EVENT!

Surely to be a day of fun and excitement, you’ll experience some of Santa Monica amazing bike infrastructure, hear about new projects and if you like, chat with the Mayor, City Management and staff on our way to CIcLAvia!. The ride is 5.4 miles mostly on streets with bike lanes. We end our ride at the CicLAvia Venice Hub.

CicLAvia is one of the country’s largest open streets events! Streets will be closed to cars and open for use as a recreational space for people walking, biking, running, skating and any other people powered mode.

Also, learn helpful tips on how to use the Breeze Bike Share system, including checking out, locking, flexibility of “out-of-station” and “hold” features, multiple bike check out on one account, along with safety tips and Rules of the Road.

All participants that RSVP will receive a promo code good for 1.5 HOURS of ride time on Breeze Bike Share* and first time Breeze participants can receive a FREE helmet. Registration is FREE but required.


#BikeLocalSM Handlebar Happy Hour (monthly)

Location:  Bareburger, 2732 Main Street

5:30  - 8 p.m.

Connect to Protect Gallery Event

7 pm

Location: Lois Lambert Gallery at Bergamot Station, 2525 Michigan Ave.

The photos have been selected! Come see some amazing and inspiring photos of how the Santa Monica community connects to nature within the city. 


The evening will start off with Wine and Hors d'oeuvre networking hour.

Bread donated by Bezian Bakery, Cheese donated by Organic Pastures and Miyoko's Kitchen

 A short presentation about Santa Monica parks and open space will be given by a representative from Community Cultural Services.             


Sylvie Rokab, the Producer and Director of Love Thy Nature will give a short presentation and end the evening with a Blue Marble Contemplation - "Pay it forward"  TO RSVP >

An extensive musical exploration by Music Director Allen Robert Gross, discussing musical examples from two suites, excerpts from the film Redes, and a complete performance of both compositions. Experience a sense of two very distinctive communities during this performance.   This concert is funded in part by the Leo Buscaglia Foundation whose mission is "Building community spirit by helping people to help others."

Santa Monica Farmers Markets Prepared + Packaged Food RFP Pre-Submittal Meeting

2-3 p.m.

Location:  SM Main Library, 601 SM Blvd.

Each year, the City of Santa Monica and Santa Monica Farmers Markets (SMFM) Team issues a Request for Proposals for a limited number of Prepared Food + Packaged Food Stalls.  If you are interested in applying for a SMFM Prepared and Packaged Foods Stall, you'll need to come to this meeting to learn about the application requirements.    Selected Vendors will start July 1, 2017.

2017 Sustainable Quality Awards

11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Le Meridien Delfina Santa Monica Hotel, Pico Blvd

Recognizing businesses in the Santa Monica area that are successfully putting sustainable practices into action. 

The event is scheduled to begin 11:00 am on April 20, 2017 at Le Meridien Delfina Santa Monica Hotel in the Penthouse Ballroom.  SQA winners will be formally recognized during a special award presentation starting at 12:00 pm. A sustainable lunch will be served.

  • An active networking and exhibitor hour showcasing local businesses and local chefs with their sustainable bites begins at 11:00 am. 
  • Free bike valet will be provided and attendees will receive a raffle ticket for walking, biking or carpooling to the event.

Awarded annually, the SQA promotes the efforts of local businesses making significant achievements in the areas of sustainable economic development, social responsibility, and stewardship of the natural environment. The SQA nurtures Santa Monica’s sustainable business community, inspiring other businesses to adopt their own sustainable practices and providing residents and visitors with a healthy economy and environment.

The SQA Grand Prize is given for combined excellence in Sustainable Economic Development, Social Responsibility, and Stewardship of the Natural Environment.  Specific excellence awards are given to businesses with outstanding achievements in any one of the three areas.

Bergamot Spring Fling

Location:  Bergamot Station Arts Center, 2525 Michigan Avenue

Save the date! The Spring Fling is just around the corner!  In the festive spirit of the Holiday Open House this too is an unparalleled arts and community celebration! Bergamot Station is an internationally renowned creative arts complex, boasting over 40 galleries and creative businesses.
