Sustainable SM Film Series: Love Thy Nature

Location:  Aero Theater, 1328 Montana Ave.

An award winning film narrated by Liam Neeson, Love Thy Nature shows how deeply we've lost touch with nature and takes viewers on a cinematic journey through the beauty and intimacy of our relationship with the natural world. Love Thy Nature shows that a renewed connection with nature is key not only to our well being, but also to solving our environmental and climate crises. 

A panel discussion will follow the film and include:  Moderator: Sheila Laffey, Ph.D., Adjunct Professor, SMC and award winning producer and director.   Panelist: Love Thy Nature’s Director and Writer, Sylvie Rokab, an Emmy nominated, award-winning documentary filmmaker with over 20 years experience as a producer, director, cinematographer and editor.

3rd Annual "I ❤ Westside" + FIG Food Lover's Dream Experience Raffle

Westside Family Health Center is holding their 3rd Annual "I ❤ Westside" this Saturday at The Mark for Events. Cool event with music, food, etc. and more.

 IF you can't go, they are also having a drawing at the event and you don't need to be there to win. The winner will spend time with Chef Yousef Ghalaini of FIG (Fairmont Miramar) who will take you with him to the Farmers Market, return to FIG's kitchen to "sous chef" and dine. Only 100 tix are being sold at $50 each!  

Westside Family Health Center has been serving Santa Monica's no- or low- income children, women and men -- over 10,000 patients yearly for over 40 years.

OSM is proud to present concertmaster Michael Emery as our featured soloist in two virtuosic sets of "seasonal" movements performed in the contrasting musical styles of Vivaldi and Piazzolla. Along with our two seasons are two Brandenburg concerti which display various combinations of instrumental color.
