Santa Monica's free WiFi Service is popular - and now your business can be part of the action. The Information Systems Department is offering online advertising to Buy Local businesses on the City WiFi welcome page, free of charge - it's the page you see after accepting the terms of use.
Potential customers in the city's parks, business districts and major thoroughfares will see your business advertised when using their laptops, iPads or mobile gizmos. To sign up, go to www.buylocalsantamonica.com/WiFi and fill out the form. The ads are 140 pixels square and feature the Buy Local logo. You can include your business name and a description or offer up to 130 characters in length.
